Umeå BSKTs senaste värvning är ingen mindre än Germain Jordan, 34. Återvändaren har inlett säsongen 2020/2021 i Mexikanska LNBP och Fuerza Regina. Där har han på sina fem spelade matcher snittat 30,8 minuter, 10,6 poäng och 3,6 returer.
Germain har två vändor i Sverige bakom sig, 2014/15 i Umeå BSKT och SBL herr samt 2018/19 i Djurgården Basket och Superettan. Under säsongen i Umeå snittade den 198-centieter långe forwarden 20 poäng, 11,3 returer och 3 assist. Germain är tacksam över att klubben och tränare Balibrea ger han chansen att komma tillbaka till Umeå.
“I feel so good to be coming back to Umea where my career started at. My goals for this season is to help this great young group of guys to become better basketball players. Win games, make the playoffs and hope to shock the league and win championship.”

I think it's one more fact that we’re working in the right direction, as we have not only been able to attract young people to the project, but now we have added an MVP to our roster.”
Germain är en atletisk spelare som har samlat mycket erfarenhet under sin spelarkarriär och Balibrea är säker på att Germain kommer att bidra både på och av planen:
“I have had several conversations with Germain, and I think he is the piece that we were missing. He'll bring us experience both on and off the court, and I'm sure that this will help us to be more competitive and mature.”
